After the success of their 2005 tour together, Judas Priest and Whitesnake have teamed up again for a late summer 2009 tour. These two English heavy metal icons are sure to deliver a fantastic show. Judas Priest will be prematurely celebrating the 30th anniversary of "British Steel" (1980) by playing both new and old albums in entirety on this tour. And with Whitesnake opening for all shows, this powerhouse duo should rock the U.S. this summer.
"British Steel" produced hits like, "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight" and eventually rose to platinum status in 1989. Judas Priest's 16th studio album, "Nostradamus," debuted on the Billboard 200 at #11 and was nominated for Grammy's Hard Rock and Heavy metal categories.
This North American tour will kick off in July in St. Charles Mo. and end at famed Universal City, CA. in August. There aren't many bands who have the staying power like Judas Priest, so if you have a chance to catch a show, do so!
