U2 has release ticket dates and info for their upcoming 360 Tour kicking off at he Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona on 30th June. Blackberry is sponsoring the event and it is the first large scale tour since The Vertigo tour in 2005. The 360 concert will play stadiums around the world, providing 360 degree seating with the 4 band members in the center, hence the title 360 tour. Tickets will go on sale for many cities.

On March 30th, 2009, ticket sales were at a staggering, 82,000 tickets sold in New York, 72,000 in Boston and 65,000 in Chicago. The U2 360° Tour will set the largest single-day attendance record in each city, according to Live Nation. In London, with more than 6,700 tickets sold in 60 seconds, ticket sales for U2 at Wembley Stadium resulted in the highest sales rate ever in the U.K. And Barcelona, U2's tour opener sold out in 54 minutes, becoming the fastest ever sold out show in the history of pop music in Spain, Live Nation says.
