The name Rick Springfield is synonymous with ‘teen idol’. But despite of his label, Rick Springfield has stood the test of time. Once the heartthrob, Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital, Rick Springfield’s success hit mega star success with the album ‘Working Class Dog’ which included the timeless pop hit, ‘Jesse’s Girl’. This Aussie singer turned actor turned singer didn’t stop there. His dossier reads like a hall of famer with albums like ‘Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet” and “Living In Oz.” And his mega hits include, “I’ve Done Everything For You”, “Don’t Talk To Strangers” and “Affair of the Heart.”

In his height of his success, Springfield brought back his acting side once again with 1984’s “Hard to Hold” spawning the top ten hit, “Love Somebody”.

Now with a new album, “Venus in Overdrive” which debuted at #28 on the Billboard charts, Rick Springfield, once dubbed teen heart throb has proven himself as a serious artist with mainstay power.
