

Peter Murphy, is currently on a solo U.S tour this summer of 2009.. The tour kicked off on June 2nd in Seattle, WA., and will go though the end of July with 31 cities included in the tour.
Peter Murphy, A.K.A. the "Godfather of Goth" spent the early 80's as lead singer for the popular band, Bauhaus, an iconic post-punk era rock band. Bauhaus broke up in 1983 with other members going to form the band, Tone's and Tails and eventually , Love & Rockets, while Peter Murphy's 80's solo career began to take off. He scored multiple hits in the mid to late 80's like, "Cuts You Up", "The Sweetest Drop" and "All Night Long".
Peter Murphy's Solo Trek will include raw material from his upcoming 4th solo album, soon to be released "Unshattered". Also, Murphy plans to release four tracks through iTunes over the next few months, all of which are covers of songs first performed by other artists, including Murphy's cover of John Lennon's "Instant Karma."
