80's synth-pop duo, Erasure burst on the music scene in 1985. Erasure was formed in England by Vince Clark and Andy Bell. The duo hit it big with "Who Needs Love Like That" and eventually became extremely successful in the UK and US. Erasure achieved twenty-four consecutive Top 20 hits in the UK between 1986 and 1997. The duo's Top 20 hits in the USA (on the Billboard Hot 100) included "A Little Respect", "Chains of Love" and "Always".
Vince Clark was also one of the founding members of Depeche Mode and wrote the smash hit, "Just Can't Get Enough". He also was part of the successful 80's duo Yazoo a.k.a. Yaz with Alison Moyet. Erasure will be making it's way to the U.S. this September/October 2012 in support of their new album "Tomorrow's World".
