This year Motley Crue headlines with Ozzy Osbourne, the prince of darkness himself at the 2010 Ozzfest. Also on the bill are, Black Label Society, Drowning Pool, Kingdom of Sorrow, Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch, Saviours and Kataklysm. Rob Halford of Judas Priest also joins the lineup and will perform new solo stuff as well as Judas Priest favorites.
The band was established by bass guitarist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, who were later linked up with guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold approximately 80 million album copies worldwide.
The band has frequently noted as having hard-living lifestyles. Their ninth studio album entitled Saints of Los Angeles was released on June 24, 2008, while a film adaptation of their best-selling band autobiography The Dirt, is due to be released sometime in 2011.
